Privacy policy
Mendip Tree Care is run by Macaulay, trading from 3 Thynne Close, Cheddar, BS27 3XR. This page explains what information I collect when you contact me and what I do with it.
What I collect
When you use the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email, town or postcode, the service you're asking about, your message and any photos you attach. When you call or WhatsApp: your number and what you tell me about the job.
Why
To reply to you, arrange a site visit and quote for the work. Nothing else. I don't send marketing emails and I don't sell or share your details.
How long I keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with the job, then deleted. Records of completed work are kept for six years for tax purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The spam check on the enquiry form may set a short-lived cookie to tell people from bots.
Who else sees it
Enquiries sent through the form are delivered by email using Resend, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Both handle the data only to deliver the message and run the website.
Photos of your garden
Photos you send me are used to understand the job. If I'd like to use a photo of finished work on the website, I'll ask you first.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email macaulay@mendiptreecare.co.uk. If you're not happy with how I've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
